It is used as a catalyst in several chemical reactions.

Used in fuel cell applications.

There surface is being used in selective oxidation, in many cases, the surface can decrease the reaction.

It has been said that gold nanoparticles could be used in almost all medical applications: diagnostics, therapy, prevention, and hygiene.
