CHANDRAYAN 2 –
It is the second lunar assignment of the Indian Space Research Organisation.
It was organized to land on the South Pole of the moon and was launched on July 22, 2019.
It has discovered the presence of water molecules on the moon.
It has been set down in a 100 km polar orbit to receive global scientific data.
Chandrayaan-2 consists of a lunar orbiter.
It also comprises a Vikram lander and the Pragyan lunar rover, all of which were developed in India.
