How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t https://www.ggoose.org/ worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also be smart.
